Real Christmas Trees are better

It's finally December!

Nothing bets a great start of December like heading down to Fresh Cut Christmas Trees and walking through there amazing lot where you can check out many sizes and styles from table tops sizes to 15 ft tall Christmas trees. This amazing family owned business (owners: Wanda and Mike Hepler Hepler) travel 10 hours from Molalla, Oregon to Alameda County Fair Grounds in Pleasanton, CA. They are located in Gate 8 on the corner of Lot 7 where you get free admission and parking. Openings vary but usually they are displayed right after Thanksgiving and start as early 9:00am to 8:00pm 7 days a week until a few days before Christmas Day.

This place is so amazing and big thanks to another photographer who introduced me to this spot last year, I just grew to love their set up. Starting to accessibility parking and first walking up to the location. The amazing staff greet you with warm love. To so many selections of trees and wreaths, you can't help to look around the corner and see an adorable Christmas backdrop setup near the main entrance. This is what blew me away. Even though I do not have any kids of my own, I still can picture many families enjoying this photogenic spot. On top of that you are also introduced a small station where kids can write a letter to Santa to fulfill their memories with hopes and dreams for that Christmas present. If you thinks that's the end of it then your wrong. If you haven't missed it from the entrance, you can catch the children run through the snow bubbles. I think that's what really gave it a special touch to this place since not many tree lots don't have that. If for some reason they don't have it on during the duration of your stay, you're more than welcome to ask them to turn it on and they would be happy to do so.

Selecting that favorite Christmas tree is what counts when finding the perfect spot. Cody, who is the son of the owners, is an amazing guy who is a very hard working and passionate at his job. Coming all the way from Oregon just blows my mind but of course the best trees should be coming from there since where we are located never grown these types of trees. As a photographer based in Livermore California and all over Northern California, I adore these moments of making new friends and spreading the word around to have many people accessibility to family pictures. Whether it's me shooting and capturing these adorable moments or you passing by and clicking on the phone, please don't pass this opportunity of creating wonderful memories.

Photographers: Please be respectful to this location and many others. I know that spots like these excite us and we tend to over book but keep in mind that this place is a family oriented location. Encouraging to buy trees is what they came here for and we must all support and love one another.
